Weekend Recap

Weekend

Friday

After an exhausting week and still trying to recover from last weekend, Friday was very low key for us. We ordered take out from a place downtown  called the Gyro Spot using Uber Eats for the first time! Using Uber Eats was not only easy but pretty quick as well. I ordered the chicken gyro bowl.

Victor ordered the chicken gyro, which I immediately regretted not ordering that once it arrived because it looked so delicious. We rented a movie called when we first met, it was a funny movie with a great ending. There is nothing better than snuggling up on the couch eating take out and watching a movie. That’s my kind of night!

Lucy (our dog) clearly was also exhausted from her week too!

Saturday

I usually have to work Saturday mornings unless we have something going on and today we had a family members wedding, which I was very excited about as I love weddings especially since my own is coming up fast! I started off the morning with 30 minute workout off my Beachbody on demand app. Then I enjoyed my delicious  Chocolate Coffee Protein Shake and took Lucy for a nice morning walk.

We got ready and headed out to Brookfield for the wedding. The ceremony took place outside with a beautiful backdrop of mountains. The reception was held in a rustic old barn that was decorated perfectly. The whole wedding really showed the couples personality and I loved every personal touch they had. I wish I had pictures to show but I unfortunately did not have my phone with me.

Sunday

Definitely a Sunday fun day! A few of my co workers and I went out on one of our other co workers boats on Lake Winnipesaukee.

I had a blast ! It’s always fun to be on a boat during a beautiful day especially when summer is starting to come to an end. You got to enjoy every last day of it you can. We started at a sandbar called Braun Bay which can get quite crazy on weekends, but it was pretty low key on Sunday.

We packed some chicken salad sandwiches for lunch with chips and hummus for snacks, both were delicious and hit the spot. Later in the evening we decided to go to a beach bar on the lake called The Naswa for a drink. Overall the weekend was very busy but so fun, which is just how I like them!
