Our Labor Day Weekend was not as exciting as I’m sure many others were. Everyone tries to enjoy that last weekend of summer to the fullest! We have had so many weddings plus our own wedding coming up that we decided to keep this past weekend pretty low key. I wish I had more pictures I am still getting used to trying to photograph more.
Friday night my sister had her first home field hockey game so we went to go watch her play. She did great as usual. Her team lost this one but I am sure they will get better as the season goes on.
I had to work at my second job on Saturday morning at Chicos, a clothing store in the outlets. I was hoping it would have been busier because of a holiday weekend but it wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. Saturday evening I went to Browns a delicious seafood restaurant on the coast to celebrate my friends birthday. Browns is a BYOB restaurant which is really cool and different. I had the steamers and they were absolutely delicious. Seafood is my jam!
On Sunday my soon to be mother in law and I went to breakfast and then dress shopping for her for the wedding. The dress she previously ordered didn’t work so we had to go find a new one for her. We did find one and it seemed to be exactly what she was looking for so it was a successful day!
Sunday night I went over to my friend Stephanie’s house with some friends to watch her wedding video and check out all her amazing wedding photos. It was really fun to relive her special day with her.
Monday was another day of shopping for me. I took my grandmother to do some errands since she can no longer drive and find her a dress for the wedding as well. Like Sunday it was another easy successful shopping day and the best part was we got up to the register and the dress was only $12! I almost feel like they made a mistake. It was a steal!
After shopping we went to lunch at British Beer Company. I had the most delicious blackened fish tacos!
Busy weekends are my favorite as I can never sit still, but I do like to relax the night before going back to that busy work week.
