Asian Beef Lettuce Tacos

Asian Beef Lettuce Tacos

Another easy peasy recipe coming at you! Thursday was another busy work night until 7 so making something difficult was not on the agenda, well a difficult dinner is never an option for me. I decided to make some Asian style Beef Lettuce Tacos. This was my first time making them and let me say  they were delicious and hit the spot!

Start by cooking the beef until browned in a pan.

Add your spices and sesame oil!

[I used red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and some minced garlic.]

Stir in the slaw.

[I used rainbow slaw because it’s what the store had left but you can use a bagged coleslaw mixture from the store.]

Add the coconut amino sauce or soy sauce

[For lettuce wraps I always like to use butter lettuce because the leaves are big and they taste the best in my opinion. I double them up in case the leaf rips.]

Add in the beef Mixture into the lettuce wraps and voila!

So easy and only takes about 15-20 minutes!

  • 1 1/2lbs of ground beef
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 12 oz of a slaw mixture
  • 4 Tsp of Coconut Amino sauce or Soy Sauce

  1. Place meat into a large pan and cook until browned
  2. Add the sesame oil on medium to high heat
  3. Reduce Heat and add Roasted red pepper, salt, pepper, and garlic
  4. Stir in Slaw mixture, stir frequently until soft.
