Easy Overnight Oats and Snoozing Update

This week has been a crazy one, as usual and I have been running out of the house in the morning with no time to make a good breakfast. Having a shake every morning can get pretty boring and I don’t want to stop at Dunkin’s and spend money. For busy weeks like these and to avoid the temptation of Dunkin’s I make overnight oats. It is so easy to make and ready to eat in the morning when your running out the door.

Start with 1/2 cup of oats.

1 Scoop of Protein

1/2 of a banana cut

Handful of blueberries

1/2 cup of Almond Milk

Cover and Shake

Put in Fridge Overnight

Open in the morning

Add some granola

Voila! Delicious and filling

Now for my Snooze update. So far its been a week and I have not hit snooze once! I am extremely proud of myself. Every time that alarm goes off it is definitely tempting but I keep thinking of WHY I am doing this in the first place.

This past week not hitting snooze has allowed me to be much more productive in the mornings and I have yet to miss a workout. This is where I struggled the most before because I wouldn’t have time to workout in the morning and by the time I got home from work or something came up, I was missing workouts left and right. I havent felt different throughout the day from when I did hit snooze. There were still a few mornings last week that I felt a little drowsy. This may be becuase I am not getting enough hours at night.

Have a great week!
